Sharla Haun

Sharla Haun is an associate attorney at NRS Injury Law, focusing on workers' compensation in
Youngstown and the surrounding areas. Sharla has practiced workers' compensation law for more
than twelve years. As a former attorney with the Bureau of Workers' Compensation, she is
especially knowledgeable about their policies, procedures, and the wide range of benefits
available to injured workers.

In 2015, Sharla returned to college to obtain a master’s degree in creative writing which gave her
a surprising opportunity to teach a humor-focused freshman English class. Since then, she can
be found cheering on local comedians or at her Toastmaster's club, encouraging humorous
storytelling. Sharla believes the best humor leads to greater empathy, connection, and a sense of
community.

Sharla has many interests, including gardening, cooking, hiking, cross-country skiing,
tennis, golf, and taking her two children to new destinations.
