Margaret T. Whitmore, an associate attorney with NRS Injury Law, focuses her practice on workers’ compensation. Prior to joining NRS, Margaret worked in personal injury and estate planning at a small firm in Fairview Park, Ohio. Margaret was an associate who worked on the plaintiff’s side of personal injury including motor vehicle accidents and nursing home negligence. She also created wills, trusts, and estate planning for families from Northeast Ohio. Further, she handled estate administration in Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Medina Country Probate courts.

While in law school, Margaret focused her studies on health care law. She was a legal extern in the Compliance & Ethics Department at University Hospitals. She earned a Certificate in Health Law from Cleveland-Marshall’s Center for Health Law & Policy. She also was given a ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in Health Law.

Margaret is a resident of Rocky River. In her free time, Margaret enjoys taking as many yoga classes as she can, running, and spending time with her parents and seven siblings.

James Zink, an senior associate attorney with NRS Injury Law, focuses his practice on workers’ compensation. Previously, James worked for almost 10 years at Florida Rural Legal Services, providing a variety of civil legal services to over 1600 individuals in south Florida, including evictions, foreclosures, unemployment compensation appeals, and employment discrimination claims. James brings an extensive background in administrative law and a passion for service to his clients.

In his spare time, James enjoys spending time with his friends and family and taking in all the sporting events Cleveland has to offer. He also assists his alma mater Denison University in recruiting and organizing alumni events in Cleveland.

Mark A. Adams began his career in 1978. He graduated magna cum laude from Miami University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and earned a Juris Doctor degree with honors from The Ohio State University law school.

Mark’s mother and father were both machine operators in the Cleveland area, and, prior to law school, Mark worked several summers as a machine operator as well. Therefore, it is particularly rewarding for Mark to represent members of his parents’ union, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, as well as the many unions throughout the state.

He is a member of the Ohio Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. Mark is a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court and has practiced in the federal and state courts throughout the eastern US. Mark has successfully argued appeals in both the federal and state courts of appeal, and has argued on behalf of clients in front of the Ohio Supreme Court. Mark has been named one of the “Top 100 Lawyers” in Columbus for the past several years.

Mark is designated as a panel attorney for the AFL-CIO Union Plus Legal Services Plan providing consultations, advice, and legal services to numerous members of various participating unions, and has been a guest lecturer at the AFL-CIO workers’ compensation school for many years. With 40 years of experience, Mark has enjoyed successfully representing injured workers and helped them obtain fair and reasonable compensation for their injuries or losses.
