Jerry Schneiberg, a Co-Managing Partner with NRS Injury Law, focuses his practice on the management of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Administrative and Litigation departments. Jerry is an AVVO Rated 10.0 and AVVO Rated Top Attorney Workers’ Compensation – Superb. He is also Lead Counsel Rated – Workers’ Compensation.

For more than 20 years, Jerry has defended the rights of thousands of injured workers with respect to matters before the Industrial Commission of Ohio. He also is regularly involved in the litigation and trial of workers’ compensation cases in the Court of Common Pleas throughout Ohio. Over his legal career, Jerry has successfully represented clients before the Tenth District and Eighth District Courts of Appeals.

A long-distance runner completing four marathons and numerous half marathons, Jerry enjoys golf, skiing and traveling with his family. He and his wife, Kim, have four children.

Austin J. Enger is an associate attorney at NRS Injury Law, focusing on workers’ compensation. Austin developed a passion for workers’ compensation and personal injury law while working at NRS as a summer law clerk.

While in law school, Austin earned a Health Law Certificate from the University of Akron School of Law. He also earned a CALI Award (highest overall grade) in Health Law. In addition to his health law accomplishments, he competed on the Akron Law Negotiation Team, where he learned valuable negotiating skills.

Austin’s hobbies include playing pickleball, golf, and watching the Cleveland Browns.

Corey Kuzma, a senior associate attorney with NRS Injury Law, focuses his practice on workers’ compensation. While in law school, Corey was an intern for the city of Cleveland Department of Law. Regularly assisting attorneys within the Department of Civil Litigation, he acquired both experience and passion in the field. Corey has argued at administrative proceedings, civil jury trials, and court of appeals on behalf of his clients during his time at this firm.

Corey resides in Lakewood, Ohio with his wife Emma.

John P. Rogers is an associate attorney with NRS Injury Law, focusing his practice in the area of workers’ compensation. In his first two years following graduation from law school, John worked as an associate attorney with a mid-sized personal injury firm in the Cleveland area, representing clients and their families throughout the state of Ohio suffering from Mesothelioma, Lung Cancer, and other harmful effects of asbestos exposure on the job site. During this time, John worked to obtain wrongful death settlements for the families of asbestos exposure victims, appearing on their behalf in over thirty different probate courts across Ohio. This experience provided him with a unique perspective as to the hardships faced by individuals subjected to harmful working environments. This experience instilled a drive to continue to advocate on behalf of Ohio workers and their families. John later transitioned into a general practice firm focusing on domestic relations, criminal defense, and probate matters in Lake County, Ohio. During this time, he also gained relevant experience in bankruptcy law and handled varying civil matters for local small businesses.

While in law school, John became a certified legal intern through the Ohio Supreme Court and worked in the civil litigation department of the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic, a non-profit law firm through Case Western Reserve University, representing qualifying lower income individuals. In this role, he served as co-counsel of record handling a variety of matters including identity theft, debt collections, evictions, and 1st Amendment violations. John also acted as an editor of War Crimes Prosecution Watch, a publication covering alleged war crimes as part of the International Law Journal through the Fredrick K. Cox International Law Center.

John is a resident of Mentor with his wife and their two dogs. He enjoys sailing, hiking with his dogs, traveling, or just spending time with friends and family.

Zachary Shapiro is a fourth-generation attorney who grew up in Cleveland. Prior to college, he studied at University Schools in Hunting Valley and then completed his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Pittsburg. He majored in English Literature before he decided to follow in his family’s footsteps to law school at Cleveland Marshall College of Law.

During his time at Cleveland Marshall, Zach was the President of the Jewish Law School Association, and the Editor-in-Chief of the law school newspaper, The Gavel. He also practiced and honed his litigation skills by competing on the Cleveland Marshall Mock Trial Team.

After law school, Zach started his law career on Wall Street in New York City where he practiced personal injury. He represented various clientele, such as construction workers and uber drivers, all of whom were involved in catastrophic accidents.

He then took the skills he learned in New York and decided to move back home to Cleveland and joined NRS Injury Law. Now, he practices workers’ compensation just like his father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

When he isn’t working, Zach loves skiing and snowboarding. When the snow disappears, you can find Zach watching movies, reading, or playing video games on his computer, which he built.

Zach loves his family, helping his clients, his three cats, and talking to anyone who likes a good story.

Erin Schmidt is an associate attorney with NRS, focusing on worker’s compensation. Prior to joining the NRS team, Erin has devoted her practice to helping folks injured or disabled with Social Security Disability, family law, guardianships, and special education.

Outside of the office, Erin enjoys kayaking and fishing on the numerous northeast Ohio lakes. She also enjoys board gaming, crafting, and hanging out with her family and pets.
