Coming from a Family Dedicated to Service
“Ever since I was a kid, I’ve wanted to be an attorney,” Daniel says, reflecting on his trajectory towards law. “My mom and I watched the popular courtroom TV drama Perry Mason when I was young, and it stuck.” Daniel goes on to describe a home life in a household with two police officers for parents, an upbringing that taught him the importance of serving the community and giving back.
As a teenager, Daniel worked for his neighborhood’s convenience store. Once in college, Daniel spent his summers working as a sanitation employee. “As soon as I passed the bar in 2000, I started working for a local firm, White & Bartko Co., L.P.A., practicing workers’ comp, personal injury, domestic law, and criminal defense,” Daniel says. “I rose to partner, and then sole proprietor. My roles changed over the decades, but the vision and mission of standing up for the underdog was always at the forefront.”

As sole proprietor of Daniel Walker Co., L.P.A. from 2012 to 2026, Daniel gradually shifted the firm’s focus to criminal defense, where he developed an ethos of honesty coupled with loyal service and hard work. “Criminal defense is hard work, and it’s often an uphill climb to see a case through to an equitable outcome for all involved,” Daniel said. “But I fashioned a system in which I brought my clients into the fold and really made them active participants in their own cases, true team players in our combined efforts to seek justice for them.”
Daniel’s leadership role at his law firm saw him wear every hat one can in the legal field, from strategic planning to evidence and medical records analysis, depositions, negotiation, mediation, settlement, administrative hearings, litigation, and bench and jury trials in federal and state courts.
Work/Life Balance
Daniel is a family man at heart. He, his wife, and their three children travel often, and when they’re not exploring the world, the family is deeply engaged in local sports, extracurricular activities, and hobbies. “Every weekend is spoken for,” Daniel says with a grin. “And when we get a free weekend, sometimes just getting us all together for a relaxing day at the house is more than enough.”

Community Impact
A father of three active children, Daniel found a calling in sports coaching and administration. He started in 2016 by coaching youth soccer, then softball and baseball. He was invited to become Trustee of North Royalton Baseball Boosters, and he is a member of North Royalton Soccer Club. He now holds the title of Commissioner, wherein he runs multiple youth baseball and softball leagues in his community.
