“I’ve been working since I was 16 years old.” Taylor says with a chuckle, reflecting on the career path that guided her to a career as an attorney. “I waited tables, I tutored, I was a barista, I worked at the Macy’s makeup counter—just to name a few.”
Taylor worked through high school, then continued working in college while pursuing a business degree in marketing. “But the COVID-19 Pandemic hit right as I was graduating undergrad, and all my job prospects dried up overnight,” Taylor said. “I took a hard look at what I wanted to do next, and since I’d always had a passion for helping others, I decided to go to law school.”
Helping Clients Navigate the Legal System
Taylor graduated from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law with her Juris Doctor in 2024. She had served as the law school’s Chief Managing Editor of the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law, and she was active in the university’s ACLU Moritz Group. Shaped by an academic path that emphasized service to the public good, Taylor has built a legal career focused primarily plaintiff-side representation. Her experience spans general civil litigation to consumer protection, breach of contract, employment discrimination, property disputes, foreclosure defense, business disputes, and debt collection defense.

Work/Life Balance
When Taylor isn’t representing injured workers and managing her caseload, she spends her free time with her husband and the couple’s dog and cat. Taylor’s husband works in park operations for Delaware County, so on weekends the pair can be found walking their dog around the many local parks or taking day trips to Hocking Hills State Park.

Community Impact
Since childhood, Taylor has known she wanted to dedicate her life to helping others and advocating for civil and human rights. As an undergraduate, she tutored in Columbus City Schools and was active in her university’s Advocates for Women of the World student group.
In law school, Taylor worked with her university’s chapters of the American Civil Liberties Union and If/When/How. She also interned at Legal Aid of Southeast and Central Ohio (formerly the Legal Aid Society of Columbus), helping provide free legal aid to people who couldn’t afford private representation. Her work there focused mainly on tax law matters.
