Vincent D. Scebbi, an associate attorney with NRS Injury Law, focuses his practice on personal injury and workers’ compensation. Prior to joining our firm, Vince developed a strong passion for litigation and assisting individuals harmed by other’s negligence while clerking for a prestigious plaintiff’s litigation firm here in Cleveland. In addition, Vince clerked for a local municipal prosecutor’s office, where he assisted in drafting an appellate brief before the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals.
While attending law school, Vince focused his studies in litigation and excelled at trial work. He was an active member of the Cleveland-Marshall Mock Trial Team, where he took first place in the 2015 Case Classic Mock Trial Tournament, as well as capturing Best Advocate in the championship round. He was also a semifinalist in the 2016 Texas Young Lawyer Association Regional Tournament.
Vince was also active in Cleveland-Marshall’s law clinics. As a member of the Civil Litigation Clinic, he gained experience representing those individuals seeking unemployment benefits. In the Post-Conviction Relief Clinic, Vince drafted multiple successful Petitions for Habeas Corpus before the United States Northern District of Ohio.
Prior to law school, Vince attended the University of Toledo, where he majored in journalism and developed a passion working with individuals in his community. He served as the Editor-in-Chief of his college newspaper, The Independent Collegian. He has also been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists for his individual writing. He was also a sports writer for the award-winning Toledo Free Press, covering the Toledo Walleye and Toledo Mud Hens.
Vince, a Brunswick native, now lives in Cleveland. In his spare time, he is an avid golfer, enjoys trivia and loves exploring new restaurants in the Northeast Ohio area.
